Parker Financial Planning, LLC was established in 1999 to help meet the growing need for objective and independent financial planning and investment advice. It is registered with the State of Connecticut as an Investment Advisor.

Theodore L. Parker, President of Parker Financial Planning, is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with over twenty years of experience in financial services. Prior to establishing Parker Financial Planning, he was affiliated with American Express Financial Advisors, Inc. and provided planning, investment, and insurance services to individuals in Southeastern Connecticut. From 1985 to 1996 he served in a number of positions with J.P. Morgan Chase Bank in New York City, including Vice President responsible for client relationships with multinational corporations.

Mr. Parker's educational background includes a Master's degree in international business and finance from the Fletcher School at Tufts University. He earned a Bachelor's degree from Reed College in Portland, Oregon, where he majored in political science and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He also graduated with honors from Phillips Exeter Academy, a college prepatory school in New Hampshire.
 
Mr. Parker is active in a number of civic and professional organizations, including the Estate and Tax Planning Council of Eastern Connecticut, and the Rotary Club of Mystic. He is married with two children.
